Nobel Prize Announcements & Greener Ways To Travel
Nobel Prize in Physics for Quantum Foundations
The 2022 Nobel Prize in Physics went to Alain Aspect, John Clauser, and Anton Zeilinger for their work in quantum foundations. I made a video about the relevance of their research last year.

Influential Nature Paper on Room Temperature Superconductivity Retracted
Two years ago, Nature published a paper with results from an experiment that claimed to have achieved superconductivity at 15C but at high pressure, a new approach to room temperature superconductivity that attracted much attention. The paper has now been retracted because of data analysis concerns. The authors disagree. More info here.
Habitable Planets Unlikely To Have As Much Water As Earth
A recent study found that most exoplanets with the potential to host life would actually have more land and less water than Earth, making them "pale yellow dots" rather than "pale blue dots." More info here.
