Chemists Propose New Approach to Quantum Computing

An interdisciplinary project between chemists and physicists at UCLA brought up the idea of using custom-designed molecules that can be interlocked as qubits. It might take a decade to get anywhere with this idea, but it could have the benefit that it's easier to scale up. First Modular Nuclear Reactor Approved in the US

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission in the US has just approved the first small nuclear reactor design, that can be built up to bigger power plants where desired. The design is from the company Nuscale. More information here. I talked about new nuclear technologies, including modular reactors in this video
